The Business of Irish Fashion: Top Irish designers to gather for the annual Arthur Cox Fashion Showcase

The annual Arthur Cox Fashion Showcase will be taking place on Wednesday, 24 May in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Themed “A New Dawn”, the aim of this Arthur Cox annual fashion event is to provide a strategic business development platform for Irish designers and provide them with access to business advice and a network to assist them grow their businesses in, and outside, of Ireland.

Event founder and corporate lawyer, Kathleen Garrett, Partner in the Arthur Cox London office, said “Arthur Cox is leading the charge in providing access for Irish designers to top business advice and an international platform to showcase their unique designs focussed on working women. With events now taking place across the year in Dublin, London and New York; the aim of the initiative is to assist designers internationalise their business. It also recognises the achievement of women in the business world and sets a two way platform to use this achievement to support and promote Irish design”.

This exclusive fashion event, now in its fifth year, with events taking place across the year in Dublin, London and New York, aims to bring the worlds of business and fashion together, in order to support Irish designers to be the very best in business as well as fashion.

This celebration of Irish design will held in the iconic Kevin Barry Room in the National Concert Hall, which has undergone a recent transformation to bring a more contemporary touch to this historic venue. The National Concert Hall has long been the backdrop for showcasing some of Ireland’s most prevalent talent, making it the perfect venue in which to celebrate the best of Irish creativity and design, focussed on adaptable work wear for the working woman.

The Arthur Cox Fashion Showcase will feature a stylish mix of some of the most recognisable names in Irish couture, millinery and jewellery design, as well as up-and-coming creative talents. Designers set to showcase their latest collections will include; Jen Kelly, Niall Tyrrell, Deborah Veale, Rant and Rave, Fintan Mullholland, Susan Grogan, Dee Mangan, Christina Goldston, Helen McAlinden, Mary Grant and Helen Steele.
